This Privacy Policy explains what data may be processed while using the Sessiz Harfler mobile game, for which purposes this data is used, and what rights you have.

Summary: The app does not require account registration. Game progress is mostly stored on your device. Google AdMob is used for ads. Firebase services may be used for leaderboard (scoreboard) and notifications.

1) Data We Collect / Process

A) Data stored locally on your device

The following data is stored locally on your device:

  • Level progress and unlocked content
  • Score data and in-game statistics
  • Hint count and hint usage
  • Gameplay data such as correct/incorrect answers and streak
  • Settings such as sound, vibration, theme, and dark mode
  • Tutorial completion status
  • Local records related to modes such as Daily Challenge and Fast Mode

This data is used to run the game and provide user experience features.

B) Account data

The app does not require personal account information such as first/last name, phone number, or email address. However, for features like the leaderboard, a random nickname may be assigned and can be changed in settings.

C) Data processed for leaderboard (scoreboard)

The app may include a monthly-reset leaderboard. For this feature, the following data types may be processed:

  • Nickname (random by default; optionally editable)
  • Score, streak, and mode-related data (e.g., Fast Mode score)
  • Language/localization info (e.g., separate Turkish and English leaderboards)
  • Technical identifiers (e.g., Firebase Installation ID / anonymous identifier) without creating a user account
  • Basic technical/security data for abuse prevention (e.g., timestamps, app version)

Leaderboard rankings may reset monthly, and the remaining time until reset may be displayed in-app.

D) Notifications (Push Notifications)

Push notifications may be used for events such as leaderboard reset announcements. In this context, your device’s push token may be processed via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) / Apple Push Notification service (APNs). Notifications can be disabled in app settings and/or device settings.

E) Data processed for advertising services

The app uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may process technical data for ad delivery, measurement, reporting, and security purposes (e.g., advertising identifier, IP address, device/app info, ad interaction data).

F) iOS App Tracking (ATT) and ad personalization

On iOS devices, in some cases, App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission may be requested for ad personalization. If you do not allow tracking, ads can still be shown; however, they may be less relevant.

  • To run the game and save progress
  • To improve game experience (balance, difficulty, flow, bug fixes)
  • To provide competitive features like Fast Mode and leaderboard
  • To reset leaderboard data and display reset countdown

4) Nickname Policy and Content Safety

Names shown on the leaderboard may be randomly generated by default. Users can change their nickname. If inappropriate, offensive, hateful, or personal-data-containing nicknames are detected, their display on the leaderboard may be blocked or modified.

5) Data Retention, Reset, and Deletion

App data is largely stored locally on your device. To remove locally stored data, you can:

  • Use the in-app reset option, or
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app (local data will be removed).

Leaderboard data (scores) may be reset on a monthly basis. Limited technical logs may be retained for security/audit purposes.
