What does a dental patient look for on a website?

A patient researching dental treatment usually has the same questions: How many sessions does this take, how many days do I need to stay, does it hurt, who is the dentist, what is the clinic like? A patient coming from abroad adds accommodation, transfers and follow-up appointments. If they cannot find these answers, they move on to another clinic’s website.

A separate page for each treatment

A single “Our treatments” page is not enough for patients or for Google. We prepare a separate page for each treatment, such as implants, zirconia crowns, veneers and smile design, orthodontics and children’s dentistry. Each page covers the steps, number of sessions, recovery time and questions specific to that treatment. When a patient searches for “implants in Tirana” or “zirconia crowns in Istanbul”, they land directly on the right page.

For international patients

  • Pages in the patient’s language: Akel’s website has a separate Italian section for Italian patients.
  • Sending X-rays and photos: Through WhatsApp or a form; files are saved to the patient’s card in Sodo CRM.
  • Stay and travel information: How many days to stay, how many visits are needed, airport and hotel details.
  • A fast first reply: A welcome message in the patient’s language the moment the enquiry arrives.

A note for dental clinics in Turkey

Dental clinics operating in Turkey may not show prices, discounts or campaigns on their website, and before-and-after images are subject to specific rules. We explain these rules in detail on our doctor and clinic website design page. For clinics outside Turkey we work to the rules of their own country.
