Novera Media is an Istanbul-based agency that designs websites for doctors and for hair transplant, dental and aesthetic clinics. We built the websites of Estevita (Germany), Akel Hair (Albania) and many other healthcare providers. We have worked with more than 10 healthcare organisations, and more than half of our references are website and e-commerce projects.
Why a doctor’s website is different
Patients do not choose a treatment the way they buy a product. First they want to know who the doctor is, what they specialise in, whether the clinic is real and how the treatment will go. A patient travelling from abroad adds questions about language, travel and length of stay. A good clinic website answers these on the first visit and moves the patient to WhatsApp or a booking form.
What a clinic website needs
- Doctor and team page: Titles that match the doctor’s diplomas and specialisation, experience, memberships.
- A separate page for each treatment: The steps, duration, recovery and common questions, in an informative tone without exaggeration.
- Booking and WhatsApp: Contact one tap away from every page; enquiries go straight to the sales team or into Sodo CRM.
- Multiple languages: Separate pages in the languages of the target countries, with language tags so Google shows the right version.
- Speed and mobile: Most patients arrive on a phone, often from an ad. Pages need to open in one to two seconds.
- Trust signals: Address, map, Google Business Profile, a privacy notice and the date of the last update.
- Structured data: Background information that tells Google and AI tools what the clinic does and where it is.
Clinics in Turkey: the healthcare promotion regulation
This section applies only to doctors and healthcare providers operating in Turkey. Turkey’s regulation on promotion and information in healthcare services, published on 12 November 2025, sets these rules for websites and social media:
- No open or covert advertising of healthcare services; the website must be informational.
- No prices, discounts, campaigns or promotions.
- Patient thank-you and satisfaction messages may not be used as advertising, and patient comments and likes are not allowed on shared images.
- No specialist titles that are not on the doctor’s diploma; no claims of superiority and no comparisons.
- Before-and-after images need the patient’s explicit consent, the same setting and technical conditions, the procedure and photo dates, and a visible note that results vary from person to person.
- The website must show the date of the last update and contact details for the editor.
- Health tourism providers publish their authorisation certificate on the website, use the HealthTürkiye logo and promote to foreign patients through a separate platform.
We build sites within these rules. This is not legal advice; we recommend checking final decisions with your legal adviser.
Clinics outside Turkey
Every country has its own rules. In Germany, for example, the healthcare advertising law (HWG) restricts before-and-after images for aesthetic surgery. We build the site for the country the clinic is in and the countries its patients come from. See our patients from Germany and health tourism marketing pages for more.
Some of the clinic websites we have built
- Estevita, Essen: A German and English hair transplant clinic website; the logo and brand identity are ours too.
- Akel Hair, Tirana: A hair transplant and dental website in English, Italian and Albanian, with a contact form and WhatsApp enquiries.
- And many more: Hair transplant, aesthetic and dental clinics in Istanbul, and health tourism agencies.
See all our work on the references page. We explain how to plan the content of a doctor’s website in our article what a doctor and clinic website should look like.
Process
- Discovery call: which treatments, which countries, which languages.
- Sitemap and content plan; a regulation check for clinics in Turkey.
- Design, development and translation.
- Launch, Google Search Console and Business Profile connection, conversion tracking.
Most clinic websites go live in 3-5 weeks; the timeline depends mostly on how quickly content and translations are ready.
